Random Canada Address FAQ

RandAddress generates realistic-looking Canadian addresses covering all 13 provinces and territories. Each profile includes a street address, city, province, postal code, and a complete identity—perfect for developers testing Canadian applications or anyone who needs Canadian address data for privacy purposes.
Canadian addresses use a unique postal code format: alternating letters and digits in the pattern A1A 1A1 (e.g., M5V 2T6). The first three characters (FSA) identify the geographic area, while the last three (LDU) narrow down the local delivery unit. Instead of states, Canada has provinces and territories. Phone numbers use the +1 country code, same as the US, but with distinct area codes per province.
Our database includes over 1,700 cities and towns across all 13 provinces and territories. Ontario has the largest coverage, followed by Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta. From major metropolises like Toronto and Vancouver to small towns in the Yukon and Nunavut.
The postal codes use real FSA (Forward Sortation Area) prefixes for each city, but the LDU (Local Delivery Unit) portion is randomly generated. The city and province data are based on real geographic information. This makes them ideal for testing postal code validation and Canadian address forms.
Zero storage. You can use the tool for free with no account registration or barriers to entry. All saved addresses are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any database—in fact, we don't even have a central server for your data.
