1. Introduction

Welcome to RandAddress ("we", "our", or "the Service").

By accessing or using https://www.randaddress.com (the "Website") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the Website immediately.

2. Service Description

RandAddress provides tools that generate random, format-valid sample data — addresses for 20+ countries, format-valid phone numbers for 5 countries, and an IP risk-assessment tool — intended for use in software development, quality assurance, form-validation testing, internationalization (i18n) testing, and educational demonstrations.

The data we generate is synthetic. Geographic components (country, region, city, postal code) are drawn from real public datasets so they format correctly and are internally consistent, but the rest of each profile — street name, house number, person name, email, phone number, date of birth — is fictitious and does not correspond to any real individual, household, business, or mailing destination.

3. Permitted Use

You may use RandAddress for any legitimate technical, educational, or personal-privacy purpose, including but not limited to:

Application and API testing in development, staging, or QA environments.

Form-validation regression testing and input edge-case testing.

UI/UX mockups, prototypes, tutorials, screenshots, and demonstration content.

Learning about international address and phone-number conventions.

Filling fields in non-essential services (e.g., free-trial registration) where doing so is consistent with that service's own terms.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use RandAddress or the data it generates for any of the following:

Fraud, impersonation, deception, identity fraud, financial fraud, online-purchase fraud, return fraud, or chargeback fraud.

Identity verification, age verification, KYC/AML processes, or any procedure that requires a verifiable real identity.

Financial transactions, credit applications, loan applications, tax filings, government registrations, insurance claims, or social-benefits enrollment.

Circumventing platform safeguards, anti-fraud systems, abuse-prevention systems, or content-moderation systems — including creating multiple accounts to evade rate limits or bans, abusing promotional and referral programs, manipulating reviews or ratings, and bypassing geographic restrictions on regulated content.

Tax evasion or misrepresentation of residency, jurisdiction, or tax status to any tax authority.

Sending unsolicited mail, scams, harassment, or stalking communications.

Any activity that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction of any party receiving the data.

You are solely responsible for how you use the generated data. We disclaim all liability for any misuse. We reserve the right to restrict access from users or networks that we reasonably believe are violating these terms.

5. No Guarantee of Accuracy

While RandAddress generates data that follows common formatting rules and pairs geographic components consistently, we do not guarantee that:

Any generated street address corresponds to a real, deliverable location.

Any generated phone number is assigned to anyone or is reachable.

Any generated identity (name, email, date of birth) is unique or non-conflicting with a real person.

Any generated data complies with the validation rules, registration requirements, or terms of any specific third-party service.

All data is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the data generated by RandAddress and for ensuring that your use complies with applicable laws and any third-party terms that apply to you.

RandAddress is not responsible for any consequences arising from misuse of the Service, including but not limited to violations of laws, regulations, contractual obligations, or third-party terms of service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, copy, code, and software on RandAddress are owned by or licensed to RandAddress and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, mirror, scrape, or resell the Service, its UI, or its output as a standalone product without prior written permission. Output from a small number of personal queries for the use cases described in Section 3 is permitted.

8. Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure

RandAddress is funded by display advertising (where applicable) and a small number of affiliate partnerships.

Display ads are served by Google AdSense and are clearly labelled as ads. In regulated regions (EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland), advertising consent is collected through Google's Funding Choices consent banner before personalized ads are shown.

Affiliate links, when present, are tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" and shown with a visible "Ad" or "Sponsored" label. We may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase through such a link, at no extra cost to you.

We do not allow advertisers or affiliate partners to influence the content or operation of the generators.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RandAddress, its operators, and its contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RandAddress, its operators, and its contributors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your use or misuse of the Service, (ii) your violation of these Terms, or (iii) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, to the extent those laws apply, and otherwise under laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which RandAddress is operated.

Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation may be brought before the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
